Keith Mikesell is an associate attorney at Longman Jakuback, specializing in criminal law and Post-Conviction Relief. He earned two bachelor's degrees from LSU in International Relations and Political Science. Prior to law school, Keith taught English at Hubei University of Medicine in China. Upon completion of his teaching responsibilities, Keith returned to LSU to persue his dream of becoming a lawyer, graduating from LSU Paul M. Hebert School of Law in 2020.

While in law school, Keith persued his two main passions, criminal defense and international law. During law school, Keith enjoyed competing in the 2019 Manfred Lach's Space Law Moot Court Competition, where he placed as a national semi-finalist, and the Philip C. Jessup International Law Moot Court Competition, where he placed as a national quarter-finalist. While attending law school, Keith interned at both the Baton Rouge Public Defender's Office and The Parole Project. Keith is licensed to practice law in the state of Louisiana.
