After earning his undergraduate degree in literature and history at Louisiana State University, Mr. Longman served in the United States military and worked in law enforcement before attending law school. Mr. Longman places particular emphasis on the early stages of a case, handling pre-indictment investigations, mitigation investigations, and grand jury investigations while the outcome can still be shaped. He frequently serves as co-counsel with experienced trial lawyers, including the firm’s Of Counsel, James E. Boren, on complex trial, evidentiary, and appellate matters. Outside the practice, Mr. Longman is an avid reader who spends his free time outdoors with his wife and their dogs. He follows LSU football, the New England Patriots, and the Boston Red Sox.
